"I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life."
Popstar Christina Aguilera is in the process of recording her next album, y’all. Altho her last album, Bionic, may not have been as big as she may have liked, Xtina is forging ahead with work on her next collection of songs. In new comments made by The Voice judge, Xtina reveals that she finds herself in a very “introspective” stage of her life … which means her new songs will likely be informed by her introspection. Christina Aguilera has dished on what she has in mind for her next studio installment. In a new promo for the singing competition, the judge and vocal coach of “The Voice” promised to give something “honest and raw” in the upcoming project. “I’m recording my next album right now,” the mother of one confirmed the follow-up to her 2010 album “Bionic”. She later added, “And I’m really excited because I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life.” “I’ve learned so much, have experienced so much, in leaps and bounds,” the former Disney star went on. “It’s a journey of growth for me, continuously throughout my career. I’m excited to put it all down on paper through my lyrics and my voice.”As I’ve said before, there are a few songs on Bionic that I really like and, I have to say, I am very curious to hear a new album from Xtina. The girl is hugely talented so I know she has it in her to put out another great album. I just hope that this time around, Xtina is able to edit herself so that her next album will be full of quality songs. I suspect, if introspection is where she’s at right now, Xtina‘s new album will cover the end of her relationship with ex-hubby Jordan Bratman … and the start of her new relationship with Matthew Rutler. Her gig on The Voice has given her career new life … here’s hoping she can capitalize on that new life and put out a really successful new album.
