Former U.S. X Factor Judge Nicole Scherzinger Accepts U.K. X Factor Position!

Nicole Scherzinger got the boot from the American version of The X Factor, but Life & Style can exclusively reveal that the former Pussycat Doll will be part of the judges' panel on the upcoming season of the British singing competition.
"She's accepted the offer," a source close to Nicole tells Life & Style. "She's going to be in the U.K. for about four months."
The 33-year-old singer was reportedly offered about $1 million to take Kelly Rowland's spot after she impressed execs with her guest-judging stint during the May 30 London auditions.
And even Nicole's relationship should benefit! By heading to the U.K. for four months, she'll be closer to her on-again, off-again British race-car-driving boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton. The pair just celebrated Lewis' third Canadian Grand Prix victory in Montreal.
"They're on right now, and they're very happy," the source tells Life & Style.
Last year, Nicole originally signed on to co-host the first season of the U.S. version with Steve Jones, but she later replaced judge Cheryl Cole, who was given the axe just three weeks in.
Nicole judged alongside Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Paula Abdul. Earlier this year, however, it was announced that she, Paula and Steve would not be returning. Pop stars Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have since been hired to replace Nicole and Paula.
"I had a wonderful experience on the show," Nicole said following her departure. "I loved being a part of my X Factor family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets."

"It was a private ceremony in Malibu," the source tells Life & Style.
The actor was so excited, he took to Twitter to announce the big news.
"Yesterday, a friend named after Stephen Dedalus officiated my marriage. Yesterday: Aviva said yes," he wrote on June 17.
"My life is ruled by redheads for some reason," Ken told Life & Style earlier this year -- and Aviva happens to be just that. "I don't know what it is, but it's undeniable. I can't fight it."
The pair met on the set of Spring Break '83, which was filmed in 2008. It's slated for release sometime this year.

Life & Style has exclusively learned that Kim's estranged husband, Kris Humphries, plans to serve Kanye with a subpoena to appear in divorce court.

Kanye may be forced to reveal whether his relationship with Kim overlapped with Kris and Kim's courtship, and because he's appeared on Kourtney & Kim Take New York and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kanye could also be asked to back up Kris' claims that some of the series' scenes are scripted.
But Kim isn't just standing by quietly. Reports confirm that Kim has also served Kris Humphries' ex-girlfriend Myla Sinanaj with a subpoena in the divorce case.

The murder of the 17-year-old Marie Qukaj, one week ago, together with her grandfather, more than a double murder, was a warned crime. The Blood Feud Reconciliation Association in Shkoder declared that they tried several times to make possible some reconciliation between the families, but the Prroi family refused.

Tirana, homage for Maria

Hundreds of citizens participated at the homage meeting organized by the civil society against the blood feud phenomenon, keeping banners with the photo of the 17-year-old Maria, the girl who was executed in the name of “Kanun”, together with her 70 year old grandfather in Dukagjin.

The citizens lit candles and wreaths near the photo of Maria, while the organizers appealed to raise awareness among the society and the state structures for stopping the phenomenon of Kanun.

Present in this meeting was the US Ambassador in Tirana, Mr. Alexander Arvizu.

The blood feud phenomenon was treated at Top Channel’s Fiks Fare, which brought the images of the isolated families in Lezhe and Shkoder, and the strange reactions of the local structures, even with comments like “they have their own problems”.

Fiks Fare brought the history of a family that has been isolated for two years and a half in Kalivac, Lezhe. The family asked the help of the state, because another blood feud crime took place.

The teachers in Dukagjin, Shkoder, declared for Top Channel that more than 120 families are isolated because of the blood feuds, and hundreds of children have dropped off school.

“The situation is alarming and the appeals against the blood feuds are falling in deaf ears”, says a Shkoder school teacher.

The state police has identified 200 families that are in blood feud in the districts of Shkoder, Puke and Malesi e Madhe, where 116 people are isolated in their homes, according to the Criminal Information Processing Office.

For the first time, the State Police is producing an official document which shows the blood feud situation.

This document identifies that there are 48 families in Shkoder, with 116 members, 21 of which are children who cannot even go to school, while two young students have dropped out of the university.

The Police database notes that there are 47 families in blood feud for the Puke District, with most of them in communes. The document received by Top Channel identifies the family data of both families that are in a blood feud, the age of the males, the time when the feud started and the cause.

 According to the analysis, Shkoder District is ranked first, with 122 families, and all the young children that do not go to school come from this district, together with the two students that have quit their studies.

The Free Thought Forum, with the support of the US Embassy, produced the first database three years ago, concluding that the Shkoder district had 84 isolated families.

The production of this study by the Shkoder Police seems a good sign that the state has finally taken the blood feud problem seriously.

A source close to the situation tells us the President and the First Lady have requested a print of what is the most successful French movie of all time for a screening at the White House or Camp David. Sy’s performance as a black Muslim ex-con who becomes the unlikely friend of a quadriplegic billionaire is already being touted as Oscar-worthy. We now hear he’s moving to Los Angeles for six months in August so that the Weinstein Co., which released the film here, can prepare him for an awards-season closeup. In new comments made by The Voice judge, Xtina reveals that she finds herself in a very “introspective” stage of her life … which means her new songs will likely be informed by her introspection. Christina Aguilera has dished on what she has in mind for her next studio installment. In a new promo for the singing competition, the judge and vocal coach of “The Voice” promised to give something “honest and raw” in the upcoming project. “I’m recording my next album right now,” the mother of one confirmed the follow-up to her 2010 album “Bionic”. She later added, “And I’m really excited because I find myself in a very introspective stage of my life.” “I’ve learned so much, have experienced so much, in leaps and bounds,” the former Disney star went on. “It’s a journey of growth for me, continuously throughout my career. I’m excited to put it all down on paper through my lyrics and my voice.”

As I’ve said before, there are a few songs on Bionic that I really like and, I have to say, I am very curious to hear a new album from Xtina. The girl is hugely talented so I know she has it in her to put out another great album. I just hope that this time around, Xtina is able to edit herself so that her next album will be full of quality songs. I suspect, if introspection is where she’s at right now, Xtina‘s new album will cover the end of her relationship with ex-hubby Jordan Bratman … and the start of her new relationship with Matthew Rutler. Her gig on The Voice has given her career new life … here’s hoping she can capitalize on that new life and put out a really successful new album.

Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Found Unconscious In Her Hotel Room

Pink reader Iris gave me the head’s up that Lindsay Lohan was reportedly found in an unresponsive state in a hotel room in Marina Del Rey, CA a short time ago. Apparently, she was found by hotel staff and paramedics were called to the scene. Lindsay has been filming scenes for Liz & Dick at the hotel and has, reportedly, been working non-stop … but we don’t know for sure what caused her to suffer unconsciousness. Lindsay Lohan was taken to a hospital after being found unconscious this morning in the penthouse of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Calif., ABC News affiliate KABC is reporting. Paramedics were called at 10:15 a.m. PST. Lohan is currently filming Lifetime’s Elizabeth Taylor bio-pic “Liz & Dick” in the Marina del Rey area.

TMZ has a bit more information about Lindsay‘s latest dilema which, thankfully, doesn’t sound to be very serious at all:

Paramedics rushed to Lindsay Lohan early today after she was found non-responsive at a hotel by the ocean in L.A. Sources tell TMZ … Lindsay had been shooting almost non-stop — without sleep — for 2 days and was staying at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey to get some sleep. She has been shooting parts of her movie near the hotel. We’re told someone became alarmed because they could not wake her up and the person called 911. Paramedics responded, and determined nothing was wrong with Lindsay. They left without transporting her to the hospital. Lindsay is back on set shooting her Lifetime movie, “Liz and Dick.” As far as we know, Lindsay did not go to the hospital herself … We’re told Lindsay wasn’t feeling well after complaining of exhaustion, she called someone from the “Liz and Dick” production team early this morning, and the team sent a private doctor to check on her. Before arriving, the doctor called the hotel and asked someone to check on Lindsay. Someone from the hotel went to her door, “checked on her” and determined she was “unresponsive.” The hotel then called 911.

Disney has just released the first photo of Angelina Jolie as evil sorceress Maleficent, and this mama of six makes bad look so good!
"I'm having a lot of fun," the 37-year-old beauty says about the film. "I've already got my horns fitted. My kids are very happy.... It sounds really crazy to say that there will be something that's good for young girls in this because it sounds like you're saying they should be a villain. [Maleficent] is actually a great person. As Disney explains, "this is the untold story of Disney's most beloved villain, Maleficent, from the 1959 classic Sleeping Beauty. The film reveals the events that hardened her heart and drove her to curse the baby Aurora."
The film is being directed by two-time Oscar-winning production designer Robert Stromberg and will be his directorial debut. The flick will also star Elle Fanning, Sharito Copley, Juno Temple and Sam Riley.
"I would love to [make Maleficent]," Angelina said in 2010. "It's all new and being discussed, but I loved her when I was a little girl. She was my favorite."

Rihanna is a size zero and ‘not happy about it’: Singer opens up about weight loss and hectic schedule

The “We Found Love” singer has appeared noticeably thinner in recent photo ops, and says her jam-packed schedule might to be to blame. Rihanna recently made her big-screen debut starring in “Battleship,” alongside actors Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson and Alexander Skarsgard.

But the singer says the long hours filming required won’t slow her down.

“I want to do two more [movies] before touring again next year,” she told the magazine. “My schedule is crazy.”

But the busy life takes a toll — Rihanna was hospitalized in May for exhaustion after appearing at the Met Ball, and forced to cancel a concert in Sweden.

“I got no sleep,” she told Us. “It’s harsh on your body.”

The singer also hit headlines Thursday after her exes Chris Brown and Drake brawled at a New York nightclub.

The reality star, notoriously "famous for being famous," almost ditched it all - the fame, the press, the show - following her very public split from ex Kris Humphries, she revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey Sunday.

Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian sat down with Oprah Winfrey in an interview for OWN's "Next Chapter" show Sunday, and the talk show host didn't waste any time getting into the nitty gritty details of the fame-friendly family.
"What do you say to people - and you've heard it - when you hear people say your mother is pimping her children?" Winfrey asked the foursome.
"I think that's so ridiculous, because first of all, we have to hire a manager, so regardless, someone is going to get that (money)," Kim said. "No one will fight harder for you than your own mother."
Added the reality star: "She knows all our moods."
Jenner was named one of the top 10 highest-paid reality TV celebrities in 2010, according to Jezebel.
In the interview, the Kardashian siblings also discussed why they think they've shot to success when so many people believe them to be "famous for being famous."
"Could this have happened if you were not all good-looking kids?" Winfrey questioned.
"To be honest, probably not. You have to have this bombshell over here and this petite little bundle of joy," Khloe offered. "And this hunk next to me."
But younger brother Rob wasn't quite so kind in his assessment of the group’s looks.
"As women, they're not skinny women," he countered. "They're not models here."
But when his famous sisters shot him forced smiles, he clarified: "I just mean I think you're great role models for women and young girls."

Radio Host Alex Jones Calls for Angelina Jolie’s Arrest for “War Crimes”

Alex Jones, the conspiracy-minded talk show host and filmmaker, is calling for the arrest of Angelina Jolie for alleged war crimes.
The startling charge comes in a new video (below) posted by Jones in response to Kony 2012 and the larger movement to raise awareness about brutal Ugandan warlord Joseph Kony.
Jones claims the anti-Kony crusade is just “war propaganda” being used to justify conflict with humanitarian excuses, and he specifically unloads on Jolie.
Calling her an “emaciated vampire woman” and “monster” who’s been “selling genocide,” Jones also labels Jolie a “disgrace and danger to humanity” and demands she be punished.

“Angelina Jolie, you may just be a useful idiot, but that doesn’t matter,” declares Jones. “You are aiding and abetting corrupt corporate interests that control our government and use its military to expand their empire and steal resources.”
He continues, ”You are nothing but a globalist whore, and you need to be arrested, you need to be brought to justice, along with all the other war criminals that are supporting these invasions and selling it as humanitarian.”

Himara tragedy victim comes out of coma

One of the students at the Himara Tragedtragedy, the 21-year-old Eriselda Gubere, from Shakuj, Lushnje, acme out of the Coma this Thursday at the Austrian hospital where she has been treated for more than two weeks.

Relatives of the student told that she had opened her eyes and had spoken. She didn’t remember anything of the tragic event, and the doctors had advised the relatives to not make too many questions.

Gubere is one of the two students that were sent to Austria in coma. Her friend, Florije Peci, is still in coma.

Curing birth defect newborns

10 children that are born each year with complicated heart problems will be treated at the biggest Pediatric Hospital in Italy, the Giannina Gaslini.

The Tirana University Hospital Center has 350 cases each year from all over Albania, while 250 others come from Kosovo.

According to an agreement signed with the Italian part, the TUHC will establish the Pediatric Hemodynamic center that will resolve a series of heart problems for newborns.

“We had no agreement for pediatric patients with heart defects, with any European hospital. This agreement will help us establishing the Hemodynamics center, which is currently used only for adults. This agreement is for all the children that have the need to be cured abroad. With the assitance of the Genova coleagues, we will realized the Hemodynamics Center in Albania, through which many patients will be cured without surgical interventions”, declared the pediatric surgeon Altin Rrushi.

Part of the agreement with the Italian hospital with the Albanian Deputy Health Minister, Bardh Spahia, is the treatment of some special cases of pediatric patients from Albania with a 30% price reduction at the Gaslini Institution.

“The costs for the Albanian government will be zero, and the other major importance of this agreement is that it will cover the number of patients that we cannot operate in Albania, because they demand a specialized intervention. Another important part of this agreement is the 30% price reduction of every service towards the Albanian citizens, even outside the 10 that will be treated at the Gaslini hospital each year”, declared the Deputy Health Minister, Bardh Spahia.
